The Wandong & Heathcote Junction Community Centre is available for hire for meetings, activities, children’s birthday parties, weddings, family events etc. This facility offers two large rooms both carpeted, great to have a children’s play area with adults separate, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave and stove, toilets & showers including disabled facilities, fully heated and air-conditioned, tables & chairs for up to 100 people included in the hire price. There is an outside fully child proof fenced and paved area including electric BBQ’s and play equipment perfect for children’s parties.

We also have a fully furnished private office with sink and separate heating which can be secured which is for hire either on a casual or permanent basis If you would like to inspect the building or require more information, or to make a booking please contact lbdavernreserve@gmail.com

Community Centre and Pavilion

Casual Community Groups: $15 per hour Minimum 2 hours No Bond required but a public liability insurance

certificate must be produced or an insurance charge of $25 will be levied.

Casual Hire $25 per hour 2 hour minimum A public liability insurance certificate must be produced or an insurance

charge of $25 will be levied. Bond at discretion of Booking Officer

Evening After 6:00p.m $50 per hour.2 hours minimum A public liability insurance certificate must be produced or an insurance charge of $25 will be applicable Bond at discretion of Booking Officer. Monday to Thursday 6.00pm- 10.00pm.

Weekend use: 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Bond $300 Noise must abate at 12am and grounds vacated by 1.30am.

A public liability insurance certificate must be produced or an insurance charge of $25 will be levied.

Cleaning will be taken from bond at the rate of $40 per hour if premises not cleaned to the satisfaction of the

Booking Officer.

24 hour period $500 A public liability Certificate of Currency must be produced or an insurance charge of $25 will be applicable Bond mandatory

$150 for 3 hours hire

Price includes GST.

Insurance $25 per booking if a Certificate of Currency for Public Liability of $5m is not supplied. This must be paid

before collection of keys

Cleaning: The Hirer may choose to have the centre cleaned after the event; costs will be taken from the Bond at $40

per hour before refund. Please arrange prior to booking with Booking Officer. Where the hirer chooses to clean the

centre Bond will not be returned until the Booking Officer is satisfied the cleaning is acceptable. Where the cleaning

fails to satisfy the Booking Officer a further charge for cleaning will be taken from the Bond at $40 per hour. Where a

Bond is not charged the hirer agrees to clean the centre to a satisfactory standard. If this does not occur a charge may

be made to the hirer.

THE WHOLE OF THE INSIDE OF THE CENTRE AND THE PLAYGROUND OUTSIDE IS A NO SMOKING AREA

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR GUESTS ADHERE TO THIS LEGISLATED POLICY.

ANY CIGARETTE BUTTS MUST BE REMOVED BY HIRER AT END OF EVENT

The Centre is security alarmed including exiting from rear door from the inside.
